When this house was purchased last August, the front lawn looked like this:

The bush in the foreground is an invasive species that sends out underground tendrils. It would eventually overrun the yard.
I dug that out. Started early Spring…. took a long while

The green you see on the other side of the bush is not grass but moss.
I cleared the moss, pulled weeds and filled holes:


I found a grass seed blended for this area (Port Townsend, Kingston and Poulsbo)
Here’s what it looks like today:

Susan’s flowerbed in the front has been a great hit with the neighbors… and the deer.
