Stage One, Cleanup

The plan is to first remove overgrowth to expose the original landscaping

I  mowed down the salal (weed like bushes) that were growing along the front.

I removed a cluster of cedar saplings to expose a large landscape rock.

More salal removed and trimmed back bushes.

There is an amazing variety of mushrooms here. I’m told this is a sign of a healthy forest.
